Bat Balls—based in Connecticut, USA—is the harness and accessories brand owned by Fanged Productions, which is all owned and operated by one bat: Trale Chiropt. Fanged Productions originally started out as Trale’s adult content creation brand, but as he was making harnesses and accessories for himself, he began to think about how he could make them for others as well. Since then he’s mostly moved on from creating adult content, but he’s certainly going to be thinking of what his products might be used for.

As a developing artist, Trale is passionate about designing custom webbing and finding new ways to use the material, which has been his favorite to work with since he started sewing. He ordered it by accident one day thinking it was something similar to elastic, and the rest is history.

One of his main goals with Bat Balls is not just to make good harnesses for people, but also to destigmatize them. Harnesses, while great fun in a sexual or roleplay setting, can indeed just be worn like any other accessory. It’s not just kink gear. Trale is hoping that some of you will take this on just like he is, maybe change a few minds in the process. 

Trale has been a part of the furry community for over 20 years, and while Bat Balls doesn’t exclusively cater to furries, it’s hard to not see the influence it’s had on him and his work.
