Unboxing
Unboxing our harnesses:
When you first see the bag with one of our harnesses, it’s going to look like a jumble of straps and hardware stuffed into a bag. We promise, it’s only half that; there’s a method to the madness!
Once you’ve slid the harness out of the bag (avoid picking it up at this time so it doesn't try to tangle itself), the first thing you’ll want to do is unbuckle all the buckles. For reference here we're using First Blood, where there are 6 total buckles.
After you’ve unbuckled everything, carefully pick the harness up and lay it out on a flat surface (like a bed or a floor). If you get it all laid out flat and it's twisting somewhere, slowly work thorugh where it's twisting to find out where the issue is. We guarantee that it does actually lie flat, despite how it may look.
To adjust the straps with these tri-glide sliders, grab the slider with one hand and the strap on either side (whether loosening or tightening) with the other hand. Move the slider the opposite direction of your hand. Using the loop created between the slider and its connection point as a reference (whether a buckle or an o-ring) moving the slider away from the loop will tighten it, while moving the slider toward the loop will loosen it.
The center bar of these slides where the webbing is attached freely moves back and forth. This makes them far easier to adjust on your body than fully rigid ones. The slight downside is that logic also applies to the harness loosening on its own over time, especially with things like arm/leg straps. They’ll just need adjusting every now and again.
